Mean people rock. Unless they're mean to you, in which case they suck.
Sarah Silverman is awesome. If you ever get a chance to catch a rare stand-up appearance, do not walk. Run. Now that Margaret Cho has mellowed out, I dare say that Ms. Silverman may be the edgiest and most controversial stand-up on the circuit. Now, if you're an idiot and don't understand what the word "irony" means, then you probably think she's racist. It also probably means you've never seen her entire act and have taken the few snippets of her jokes that float around on the internet out of context. If this is you, then, well, get off my web page. I don't want idiots reading my stuff. So shoo!
I would quote some of her jokes here, but that would just perpetuate the problem I've just outlined, which is lack of context. So I won't. But for kicks, check out Comedy Central's Crank Yankers site. Sarah does the voice of Hassadah Guberman. Check out those clips for giggles. But don't watch them while drinking a Diet Coke. You will have to buy a new monitor. Learn from my mistakes.
